Welcome back to this week’s Fulcrum #ProjectProfile. We are bringing to you a new development from the Pacific Northwest. Today we present Mercato Grove in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Mercato Grove is a mixed-use development that includes commercial/retail spaces, apartment housing, and a standalone parking garage. This development is the first of its kind in Lake Oswego, where it has a little bit of everything for community goers. The commercial areas include six restaurants and other businesses with a primary focus on wellness.

The project’s residential portion has 208 apartment units with various amenity spaces, including fitness areas, common areas, co-working spaces, even a duck enclosure, and space for gardening, among other amenities. Mercato Grove was created to be “practical and beautiful,” as Lead Developer Damin Tarlow stated on the AM Extra segment on KOIN News. The apartment units are within two of the five buildings that make up the community and wrap around the parking garage. Residential parking uses the elevated parking levels and is separated from the commercial parking located on the first floor of the parking garage and connects to the surface level parking.
