Denver Children's Home

Here at Fulcrum, we believe that serving our community is our social responsibility to creating a better future. Thus, we have created the #FulcrumCares initiative, in which we volunteer our time or donate needed goods to charitable organizations.

This past week our Denver office chose the Denver Children’s Home. Our team collected much-needed school supplies, everyday essentials, and a few children’s games to donate to their establishment found in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood.

The Denver Children’s Home was established in 1883 and is known as Colorado’s oldest nonprofit organization. The organization has since concentrated its efforts on helping children who have suffered severe abuse or neglect with serious mental issues. The Denver Children’s Home currently offers a residential program, a fully accredited and integrated school, alongside programs grounded in trauma-informed care and the latest in brain-development research for the prevention, intervention, and treatment.

Like any home, Denver Children’s Home needs supplies to keep running. They are currently housing children between the ages of 9 and 18 and accept donations during regular business hours or by appointment.
