“52% of the United States is used for agricultural purposes, including, cropping, grazing, and farmsteads,” according to USDA.gov.

As a part of improving and changing our community, Fulcrum’s Los Angeles office worked with The Giving Farm, which is a farm-to-food bank collaborative community program. The program works to promote student and community engagement in the California agricultural industry. The Giving Farm is eight acres of farmland adjacent to the Westminster High School campus.

The Fulcrum team got their hands dirty by supporting the day-to-day operations by planting, weeding, and harvesting strawberries to help The Giving Farm reach its goal of delivering 200,000 pounds of produce annually. All produce harvest goes to the OC Food Bank, which provides healthy, fresh, and local options to low-income communities.

Thank you, The Giving Farm, for allowing Fulcrum to work alongside you in helping serve the community.
